Can You Mix Methadone With Diluadid?
Question by Dorian Grey: Can you mix methadone with diluadid?
I am prescribed 4mg diluadid every 4-6 hours as needed and also 5mg methadone ever 12 hours. I assume this is safe because it was all prescribed by my doctors, but I am just triple checking. Also I heard methadone “blocks” the effects of opiates so wouldn’t the methadone make the diluadid have no effect?

Its fine. Especially if the doctors gave it to u. Just dont take them together. Example: i had to give my mom methadone at 9am then gave her dilaudid 2 hours later.
