Methadone is a synthetic narcotic able to suppress all the withdrawal symptoms associated with addiction to heroin, but check the pinpoint pupils if you’re that curious and would like a well deserved slap in the face as it is legal by prescription only. It does not provide the high, however and most people wouldn’t spot it. It will show up in urine or blood test. Usually administered orally. It is also utilized in a cancer pain prescription known as Brompton’s Solution in combination with cocaine and Morphine. Cocaine is a carrier to speed up delivery of the morphine and the Methadone lengthens the time the Morphine remains effective to dampen pain.
