I smoked pot ten months and ago and took one methadone tablet around three month ago. I took five or six good hits of the pot. I just had a hair drug test taken from my leg. Do I have anything to worry about. I’m really concerned. Help!

Not sure how long drugs stay in your system, each person and each drug, is slightly different…..
If they do that “hair test” yes, they can tell you took a drug….if you want to be sure, call a pharmacist, ask them.
They know more about drugs than doctors. Please don’t take drugs… : )
I know some people have brain damage from taking a drug one time. Be careful, and take care of yourself.

First of all-don’t take methadone again. You do not want to get into that crap. As for the pot I would be concerned as the THC stays in your hair folicles until the hair is grown out, falls off or is cut. Since you are a guy I am assuming you don’t shave or trim your leg hair so I would have to say it probably is still there. They can tell how long ago it was though and that may help your cause. Also, because you didn’t to a lot and it was so long ago it may not even show. Typically they have a scale they go by and if it shows up a tiny bit from a while ago they may just mark your test negative. You could always request to take a urine test and that will prove that you haven’t done anything recently. Hair tests are less common so I am curious why they would do it that way. The methadone doesn’t stick to the hair either and is out of your system in about 3 days. I hope your test comes back negative. if it doesn’t you could always just say you were around other people doing it in a closed area and you got a contact high.

Did you get a haircut any time after the drug use? If so then the testing goes back a few months, otherwise it goes back even farther.
The testing basically goes back as far as the hair does.

Unfortunately, yes. If it would have been from your head, you probably would have been in the clear (assuming you have had a hair cut since token it/gettin done). However, unless you shave your legs, you’re screwed. Sorry bud.

If body hair is used the timeframe represented by the test is approximately one year due to the different growth pattern in hair below the neck.
