This video is very encouraging, and I appreciate that you have gone online to share how methadone treatment is helping your husband. I work in a methadone clinic. We just had a client? successfully taper off of methadone, have another client down to just 3 mg, and another client down to 7 mg. More people need to understand the potential benefits of methadone and your video is very useful in offering people hope.

@hughes3535 We live in Canada, New brunswick. Alot of people look down apon methadone use, the reason ehy is that many people abuse it and take mathadone while not having any drugs and the sec they find drugs they use. Also people that are not given permission to have methadone buy it off the streets. I believe if methadone is used right it can saved a persons life. It did my husbands. He now is down to 40mg a day and has 2 years and almost 6 months? clean. also clean tests .

@tinathor9 he’s doing good if he’s at 40. i assume he’s tapering. tell him to go slow,like 5 mg a month.i found i didnt have much of any problems going this slow. the harder part is after,staying off drugs and not wanting to go back on methadone. once he’s at zero,tell him to stay busy,keep working or maybe even take a? few days off. pump the vitamins,eat healthy as you can. vitamin C helps a lot to restore energy. ive been off methadone almost a year now,it gets better and better every day.

@TheMistermuppet My husband is now down to 26ml of methadone a day. Hes working? 45 plus hours a week and feeling great. thanks for all the postive comments.

Mass state police at it again! I have heard that they harrassed this girl for her keys. When she stated “they are my keys and I didn’t do anything”;The trooper stated “give me the fucking keys”, she stated back? “is that anyway to speak to a lady”? He stated “you call yoiurself a lady and you go to this place”! Pure discrimination!

What do U mean let us help you live drug free, isn’t? methadone just ‘the same poison-just a different name? I’m on methadone and just because it’s legal and prescribed doesn’t make it any better than being on pain pills or heroin, it’s just a different FORM of an opiate-and just as addictive. Your ad should say ‘let us help you get off one drug and go on another addictive drug. From a user

@beanstravels2 Yes it does take a minute or two for the nurse to get my bottles ready but thats just the way they do it at the clinic i go to. They also have the liquid if you would rather have that but they fill the bottles while you watch just like the tablets. I am pretty sure its done this way to insure the correct amount is given.
The small white pills shes putting in is 5mg tablets. the orange ones are 40mg wafers.
I would never trust not seeing whats? put in my bottles.I

at the? clinic I go to it comes out of a dispenser as a pre-mixed liquid.

@FTPokerLegends ,Maybe it’s just me but i dont trust the liquid. Kind of like at the gas pump, ya just never know if your getting what you paid for,lol
The clinic i go to has the liquid if you want it instead of tablets but i ask for the tablets as most people that goes there do.
It also makes it a little easier? to “Split dose” if you would rather do it that way. As i do.
I might make a video of start to finish but i dont want to get any of the patients face in the video.
