ok i wrote in last night and got alot of good answers about catching my hubby doing cocaine again. selling and using. a mutual friend told me. i will repeat that in out past we were both bad on every drug. 14 moths ago we got into a local methadone treatment center and i havent relapsed onced and thought the same for him. we been together 5 years and have a 3 kids. one single and one set of twins. so..after i confronted him, he admitted to shooting cocaine onced behind my back. i do believe thats true. but he also admitted to selling it alot behind my back in the last month.i dont kno what to do. he says he does it to make $ for “us” which is true. and i have to say hes the greatest father to our kids. he couldnt be better. but im stuck.i cant even trust him to go to the market alone fearing he will use again. he promised he wouldnt.He does have good intentions, but i still dont know. he was hiding it from me and i had to find out on my own. Methadone is a narcotic analgesic, which means that it acts as an intense pain reliever. It works by acting on an addict’s central nervous system, suppressing pain via pain receptor sites. It is used to help those with an addictive drug such as heroin, however itself has addictive properties. Why is methadone addictive? Wherever our family looks at social media, Hydrocodone addiction is always there. Addiction to Opiate is a difficult lesson to master. It may take 2 days or several months to become physically dependent on Suboxone. When the physical dependence of opiates is happening the addiction is rampant.

The tolerance starts to increase when this is prevalent, needing more of the Drug to stay from getting sick. Friends start feeling the withdrawal effect such as cold flashes and body aches, or needing more in order to get high. Brothers grieve at seeing someone they spend time with go through the awful withdrawals that are part of Heroin addiction.

Coworkers never see the addiction coming, nor do we grow up thinking I want to be an Oxycontin addict when I am older. It may start after getting into a car accident or an operation in which one is prescribed opiates afterwards. People from all walks of life can fall under the addiction spell.    Read more...
