a pms told me if I couldn’t go down from 28 dalaudid pills to 8 per day in the next week he would send me to a methadone clinic. With that he laughed and threw me my script for the week and said I may go while he waltzed off singing some showtune in his extremely irritating, very nasal, and high pitched New York accent! I thought he must be joking! He was laughing after he said it, but no, the script was really for only 8 pill per day!! I don’t recall at all how many m’s those pills were , but other’s had told me I was very lucky to get them. But I was fast learning the very hard way who to believe and who to trust. The next day, a few hours after I took my first 2 of the day, I knew I was gonna be in big trouble. After 3 days I was back in the pms’s office begging for mercy!!!! He gave me a script for one more day of 8 pills and a referral form to any ” methadone clinic” I chose!!??I was scared to death!! I wasn’t a heroin addict!!! I didn’t belong in a place like that!!!!But I went.

10 days ago I used my last hit of heroin , At that time my doc , (which is a addiction specialist ) put me on 80 mg of met a day . In that ten days I have droped myself down to 70mg for the last 4 days and seem to be fine with the drop . Now is this feasible ? to drop 10 mg every 10 days untill I am off ( one quick note )-( I have a very good friend that runs a christian based recovery home that would be dosing my pills ) anyhow in 7 weeks time of droping my dose like this will I experiance any real discomfort ? This is the first time I have been on met and I just started a little better than a week ago . Thanks for any help on this . By the way suboxone is not a option for me .

I sincerely hope not. Carfentanil, a generic for Wildil, is an outrageously strong opioid intended for use in tranquilizing animals and is in no way safe for human consumption, although after reading up on it I understand the attraction. As an opioid, carfentatnil is akin to codeine and heroin — only much stronger than either, and synthetic. Consider this quote from a ranking chemist of the Drug Enforcement Administration:
“For instance, carfentanil is approximately 4000 times as potent as heroin and has an extremely favorable therapeutic index […]. Hence, an easy week’s work for two chemists could provide 1 (one) kilogram of carfentanil which would be equivalent to four metric tons of pure heroin.”
